Things that've made me happy in the past few weeks:
1) New books. Right now Jonathan Ames' ("an edgier David Sedaris") new book "I Love You More Than You Know" is my #1 reccommendation.
2) New car. It's like an expensive dream, in a way.
3) New home studio. Still need one or two more things but I'm already on my way to producing the next Now That's What I Call Music compilation.
4) New music. The MGMT (That would be The Management) and Animal Collective (I know, not that fresh but I'm on a media-freeze at home, sort of.)
5) New DVDs. Kraftwerk World Tour 2004 and the Aeon Flux The Complete Series set or both entertaining. Still need to get the next installment of the TV Carnage series "A Sore for Sighted Eyes."
I think that about rounds out the list of things that have managed to keep me broke and amused lately. I must say, Marx would be proud of such staunch materialism. Of course there are other things that have made me happy these last few weeks. Things you can't buy with a MasterCard. But more on that in the following weeks. Maybe. Seeing as to how frequently this thing has been updated as of late, you never know.
